Block Paving Cleaning

We carry out block paving cleaning and sealing in 3 simple stages as indicated below:-

Stage 1. The paved area is sprayed with fungicidal wash/weedkiller and jet washed with a high powered pressure cleaner to clear the joints of any moss, algae or weeds.

Stage 2. We make sure the paved surface is completey dry before sweeping kiln dried sand into the joints to stabilise the blocks.

Stage 3. The block paving is sealed with two coats of Smartseal block paving sealer. The sealant once dry, will protect the surface of the paving for many years to come and prevent future loss of colour. It will also solidify the kiln dried sand which means that further weed growth is greatly restricted.
